Coastal Adolescent Behavioral Health, P.A., provides assessment and medication management to adolescents and young adults, between the ages of 10-25, who have a Developmental Disability, a Learning Disorder, or Behavioral Problems. If indicated, we can provide medication management for behavioral issues, and some psychiatric illnesses.
Coastal Adolescent Behavioral Health, P.A. works in conjunction with your primary care provider, your psychiatrist, and/or your specialist(s). We can also work on your behalf with schools, tutors, counselors, parents, legal guardians, and employers.
Coastal Adolescent Behavioral Health accepts referrals from a variety of sources.
Coastal Adolescent Behavioral Health P.A. accepts Medicaid but does not participate in any other insurance plans at the moment. We will provide you with a claim form for you to submit to your insurance company. Many companies will provide some reimbursement for our services. We can also design a payment plan to fit your needs. We accept cash, personal checks, Visa and Mastercard.
Our Services
- An initial 80 minute evaluation and examination is provided to review patient’s medical and psychiatric history. Parents and the patient are interviewed alone and together. Some psychiatric testing will also be done at this visit. Blood work and/or an electrocardiogram may be recommended. A follow up visit is provided for the parents and the patient to return for results of the testing, and a management plan will be discussed.
- Initiation of medication therapy.
- Management and monitoring of medication.
- Updates to other physicians involved in the patient’s care.
- Family and Individual Supportive Psychotherapy.
